We were! We are the new owners of 611 and have already made a multitude of renovations and added extra amenities for you to enjoy! Thank you for considering staying at our home away from home.

Condo 611 is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo featuring a king bed in the master suite. The guest suite offers a king bed and a twin. Need more space to spread out? The living area also offers a queen sleeper sofa with a brand new memory foam topper. Crisp, clean, brand new bedding throughout and pillows galore.

Right on the water and just steps away from the beach, there are no busy roads to cross when you stay with us. 611 now offers luxury plank flooring throughout the entire space. Samsung appliances and marble countertops in the kitchen. Bathrooms feature marble countertops, brand new rain shower and handheld fixtures for your delight. Freshly painted, new lighting, new decor, and the most gorgeous crystal chandelier in the dining room. 611 is also now a SMART home- featuring echo dot devices and Amazon firesticks to enjoy on the large, flat panel tvs ; and usb outlets throughout the condo. All the little conveniences that make your stay a notch above the rest - did I mention we have a beach wagon too?!

You will delight in panoramic views from the private balcony- Destin's famous East Pass, yachts cruising in and out of the bay and the breathtaking water of the Gulf’s Emerald Coast. Witness the most spectacular sunsets while relaxing after a day at the Islander’s private beach. 611 is in perfect proximity to fine restaurants, shopping, and water activities for everyone- including paddle board and kayak rentals right in your back yard.

The Islander Resort boasts 2 swimming pools (1 heated in the winter) and 2 hot tubs in addition to Complimentary Beach Service for guests on the resort’s private beach during the months of March to October. No need to pack your chairs and umbrella- you’ll be treated to two beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you each day of your stay- away from the crowds of the public beaches.

Additionally, The Islander Resort offers an indoor fitness center, 2 impressive lighted tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts and one ½ basketball court. You can enjoy 2 shuffleboard courts, an outdoor pavilion all while cooking the catch of the day on one of the 8 charcoal grills available on site. Towel and linen exchange is complimentary on Tuesdays and Thursdays and guests also have access to on-site coin laundry service for their convenience.

You will enjoy access to all of the Islanders amenities- but most important, a fantastic crew on site to answer any and all of your questions. There are 2 elevators as well as a step-free beach access ramp to the white sand and beautiful blue waters. What more could you ask for? An Amazing stay in paradise!

"Our experience at this Islander in unit 611 was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were blown away by how spotless, beautifully decorated, and welcoming the space felt.The views of the gulf were breathtaking-morning coffee on the balcony with the sound of the waves was the highlight of everyday. The open layout made it easy for our family to relax together, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals without ever feeling like we were missing home.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. the amenity of having a washing machine and dryer onsite was amazing for our stay. The condo was well maintained, and you can tell the owners take pride in every detail. The location couldn't have been better with a private beach and a short drive to restaurants and shopping. We loved walking along the beautiful beaches in the morning and the evening.

"Our stay was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our time! The unit came as described and gave us everything we needed for our family of four. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Great location as well for our kids as it has two pools, two hot tubs, and the beach is a simple short walk, with chairs and umbrellas available every morning. "The condo was perfect! The beds were very comfortable with plenty of sleeping pillows and nice linens. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't do much cooking. Wonderful restaurants nearby. "This condo is beautiful, all the extra amenities from the owner was a life saver. It was so clean and the view was awesome, and the walk to the beach took maybe 3 minutes, it is close to every the Store and the Walmart delievery service made everything so much easier.

Paradise on earth at condo #611

"Absolutely amazing!! We stayed in unit 611. This unit has been undated so gorgeous but it still has that comfy feeling!! It was spotless and had everything we absolutely needed and things we didn’t even know we needed. Seriously, we cooked in quite a bit and we they had gadgets we don’t even have at home. The beds were amazing with plenty of extra covers and pillows. The front desk was extremely helpful. The location was AMAZING with a view of the harbor fireworks. They have outside grilling with ample space for everyone to sit and eat. The balcony has spots for your towels so no more leaving them over the railing for them to blow away. They have great tvs in the bedrooms and living room. I could go on and on. Also Destin has so much to do. If you want to relax like myself, you’ve got the beach right there along with 2 pools and hot tubs. If you have teenagers like myself they’ll love all the activities around Destin. The islander itself had daily activities for the kids. There’s amazing shopping in the area. I could go on and on. I can’t wait for our next trip back! Thank you to the staff of the islander and the owners of this beautiful condo! Well done!! Oh and the showers (chefs kiss)!! I almost didn’t want to leave this review because I want to keep this gem for myself!

Quick Family Vacation

"We needed a quick family vacation. No planning just seamless and memorable. We were recommended this place and we are so glad we went! From the check in process to the entire stay, it was just what we needed. There was a beach cart and sand toys we were able to use and that was so helpful. Made a huge difference. We also needed help with the TV and the guest services/maintenance were so quick and helpful! Everything was clean, organized and well maintained. We are frequent flyers in Destin and this is one of our favorite stays and areas! We love being next to crab island, rentals and big kahunas waterpark! The private beach area for us and the choice of 2 pools and grilling sitting area were perfect! We will definitely be back.

"Spring is hard- it was cold! This was our 4the time staying at The Islander! And we recommended friends to join us this time. Unit 611 was the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in. Which for a mom of two young kids is helpful! The week activities for kids is so great! We love that every time! Your activities coordinator is amazing! My only reccomendation would be to update games/books/dvds in the laundry unit. For cold rainy days, not a lot of kid options!

"Enjoyed our stay as always. We have been staying at The Islander for the last 7 years or so, a few times twice in the same year. Our only complaint is that a few years ago the gate to the beach was changed from a keypad to the current card reader. I like to get up early while everyone else sleeps and go snorkeling just as the sun is coming up and since you have to use your room key to get in/out I am unable to do so not wanting to loose my key. I would like for the keypad to return but I understand why it was changed

"Me and my family were happy to see how well the property and our room we stayed in was soo nice! Everything was clean and well maintained. Room 611 was great, updated décor, comfortable furniture and beds. Would definitely stay here again. The Perfect Vacation at the Islander

"We enjoyed our stay in Unit 611 at the Islander. The room had a beautiful view, and the staff was nice. (Maggie was extremely helpful and friendly.) The unit was very nice, only suggestion would be to get rid of the carpet in the bedroom, and put the same wood flooring in it that's in the living room area. Bedding was very comfortable, which is always nice. Enjoyed our stay as always.

"Our stay was perfect! The unit was very clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly. Easy access to the beach and our view was the best. They have beach toys for the kids and floaties for the pool. So it you are flying in and can’t bring them or you forget them at home, don’t even stress about it.
Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!

Good place to stay

"The overall stay was good. The unit was plenty big and had everything we needed. The beds after a week though we’re not the most comfortable. The biggest downside was the beach itself. The shore was at an incline and it was very hard for the kids to play comfortably. Not anything the Islander had to do with but if I would have known this I would not have stayed there.

"Perfect stay! I have stayed in this condo before so I knew I would not be disappointed. Always ready. Never have had issues. Clean with comfortable furniture and bedding. My parents came with me this time and they were thrilled. Thank you so much for a beautiful place to stay and helping me create memories with my parents that will last forever.

Best view from sunrise to sunset

"The. Location was perfect and the beach was well enjoyed. I encourage anyone not driving in to the area, flying like we did, have for thought about your needed groceries and comfort needs. We had an instacart order delivered the first day, without it, we’d have been doing delivery for meals all the time . Transportation must be considered too, book ahead and don’t take take it for granted, use local taxis, rarely Uber’s are even around. The area is still very low staffed, so plan ahead and exercise patience. We tried the water taxi, and even with a reservation, we still did not succeed, so have a back up plan. Have a great trip, and don’t forget to watch the sunrise just right outside your front door and sunset on your balcony ��. PS... the umbrella/ chair guy appears to work alone, so give him a break and plan on reserving your best chair view of the beach early in the morning.

"We love The Islander and we love this condo! Everything was very nice and clean. We love the beach service and how close the condo is to everything. The guest bedroom does have a king size bed but the title of this condo has a full and twin posted. Will definitely be back!
