Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen has been thoughtfully renovated with sleek granite countertops, modern lighting, and stainless-steel appliances. Everything you need to enjoy cooking in comfort, including a full range of kitchenware, a coffee maker, and a microwave are available to you!

Bedrooms: The master bedroom offers a luxurious king bed, a 40-inch flat-screen TV, and an updated private bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanity sinks, and granite countertops. The guest bedroom features two twin beds and another flat-screen TV, making it perfect for children or additional guests. The guest bathroom is beautifully updated with granite counters, a quartz sink.

"Super clean unit. Spectacular view. Beachy, cozy with all the amenities. Accommodating staff. Excellent location. Our stay had the coldest temps in Destin in 25 years, and STILL exceeded expectations with things to do and see. Would give our stay 10 stars if I could. Love, LOVE this complex.

"We stayed in unite 605. The couch needs to be replaced and the television needs to be replaced. The unit itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back, but not in unit 605. The staff at the Islander were great.

"Checkin went smoothly.

"We enjoyed our stay for Spring Break! The property was in a great location, the heated pool was the perfect temperature, and the beach service was a great perk! The unit itself could use some upgrades(like others have mentioned the showers are old), but it didn't bother us as we spent very little time indoors!

"Overall this is a nice place to stay. We stayed in the east wing and had a great view of the ocean. A very short walk to the beach and Bryson, the beach attendant, was very kind and helpful, always greeting us when we came down. My only complaint with the unit itself was the bathrooms. The vanities are all updated and nice; however, the tub/showers are old and have sliding glass doors on tracks that always look nasty, even if they are clean. Caulking was coming off down into the tub when we showered. The kitchen was well-stocked as far as dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Appliances all worked nicely. The sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on and is a bit worn, but it wasn't a deal breaker. There were several outlets/ light switches that didn't work- I called about the outlet in the master bath not working (there was only one, which doesn't make sense in a double sink bathroom), and they sent someone up within a few hours to fix it- however there were several others that I didn't call about because we didn't NEED them. The unit itself was nicely furnished and decorated and we enjoyed it there.
My biggest complaint about our stay was the weather- we were there for Spring Break and it never got much over 70 degrees and only had one sunny day- but that obviously isn't anyone's fault! I would stay here again, but would choose a different time of the year next time.

"Unit was on 6th floor of The Islander and had a great view of pool and gulf from the balcony. It was well furnished except for the couch and loveseat in living area which had had a lot of wear. Our only concern were the tub showers which were very old and slick with no grab bars. One had to step over a high side to get in. Kitchen was very nice.

A SNOWBIRD IN THE SUN

"This past winter was our 29th year at The Islander. We have stayed in many units over the years and have found things we liked about each of them. Unit 605 has a lot going for it in terms of location. We found it clean when we arrived but there were a few small problems which were attended to promptly by the VERY able and obliging staff! We have reserved the same unit for this coming winter and we hope to be able to continue renting at The Islander for some years yet! Each year it's like coming home!

"One of the best times. My family has been meeting at Islander since 1996! Love the sugar white sands and blue gulf water. Excursion to Crab Island was a hit for the kids young and old. Enjoyed our game night and cooking on the grill night where family members had a chance to exhibit cooking talent.
Islander remains my home away from home. Love how the units keep updating. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Can't wait until next year!

UNIT 605 *FANTASTIC VIEW*

"This is our third stay at the Islander. First stay in Unit 605. Let me start by saying the Management at the Islander is top notch. So friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and we have never had any issues. That being said - upon arrival we noted the following: Cracked Mirror in the front room, Broken dresser drawer, broken closet door, dirty shower track. I immediately took pictures and reported it to the front desk. They were very accommodating and offered to send Maintenance up immediately to fix the issues. I did not feel that these things were make or break at the time and we would just deal with them during our stay. I did wipe down the shower track myself. Tub and shower were clean! Management appreciated the fact that I reported these issues. They hire out for cleaning and unless somebody reports the issues they may never know. What I do highly enjoy about the Islander is that the complex is small compared to other places. Beach service is included. I will definitely stay at the Islander again and highly recommend it. Looking forward to next year's stay.

"This is our 3rd time at the Islander and 2nd time in unit 605! The staff are super nice and the entire complex is super clean. Nice and private since it's off the main strip. The unit 605 is clean, nice furniture and upgrades. Great view and kid friendly with the kids activities. We will be back and would stay in this unit again!
