This fully remodeled beach front vacation condo in beautiful Destin Florida is a little piece of paradise! Located on the Emerald Coast, the sands here are naturally formed from quartz and are the softest and prettiest in the world. Our condo is in the east wing of the resort with a direct view of the Gulf. Enjoy the wildlife Destin has to offer right from your balcony, including dolphins, pelicans, and fish eagles as they play and feed throughout the day. Your private balcony provides a beautiful view of the beach which is just steps away. Once you reach the sand, you’ll be equipped with your own private chairs and umbrellas to stay cool. Unit 509 is non-smoking and has recently been fully renovated including all new furniture, flat screen TV's, bedding, and custom-made coastal metal wall décor. The entire condo is freshly painted and sports fun coastal colors throughout the unit. The kitchen is a chef's delight with all new custom cabinetry and modern lighting. The kitchen also sports custom granite counter tops with all new stainless-steel appliances. The refrigerator is brand new with an excellent filtered ice maker and water dispenser. You can watch the living room’s 60" flat screen from the dining area, which has seating for 6. The master bedroom has a 43" TV with an ensuite bathroom that features walk-in shower w/seat and double vanity. The guest bathroom has been updated as well to match the exquisite coastal theme of the entire condo. This rental accommodates 6 people with a king in the master, a twin & queen in the guest, and a brand-new leather queen-sized sleeper sofa with a premium mattress in the living room. The new lighting and tile throughout with luxury vinyl flank in the bedrooms completes this attractive condo. This resort is tucked away on Holiday Isle where you will enjoy the privacy and tranquility of being off the beaten path of Hwy 98. Only 5 minutes away, you’ll find an abundance of incredible restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores. This condo will be your home away from home with everything you need and much more, less than 5 minutes away. If you have children, do not hesitate to bring them along, as the resort offers plenty of kid friendly activities that include dive-in-movies, kid tattoos, artist easel painting, and face painting; the list goes on and on. The resort offers private pools, hot tubs and tennis courts, along with an array of recreational activities on the beach. For the more adventurous, the infamous Crab Island is literally in your backyard, and boat rentals are prevalent. There are also many popular establishments to include restaurants and bars with boat access along the harbor. Our family fell in love with Destin, and we are sure staying at this condo will have you falling in love with it as well. Once you get here, I promise you will not want to leave, so don’t make your stay too short and book quick!

"Our family enjoyed this condo very much and will likely return . Very spacious and easy access to pool and beach . Will mention 2 things only to help the next people and to let the owners know of possible
Improvement . The coffee pots did not work and being avid coffee drinkers we had to go buy one to have there during the week . Second , the shower drain in the smaller bathroom was clogged and would not fully drain so showers had to be quick . Overall , nothing terrible just want others to be aware .

"We enjoyed our stay. This was our first experience staying in a condominium and we would definitely be willing to stay again. Our room was great. It was clean and well maintained. My one complaint would be that the elevators both struggled the entire week. They left you with a feeling that you may not get off once you get on. A frustration that I would mention would be that our condos seem to have a considerable amount less beachfront than the condo to our right and to our left.

"509 was a great room. Very clean and updated. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers for sure! View of the ocean and boats in the morning were very nice! The only downfall is the pictures make it seem the pool by the water, the pickle ball court, tennis court and large gazebo are a part of this property but they are not. Our boys who were very excited to fish the jetties could only get to one due to the park being closed off. The biggest problem we had was The Islander does not have much beach front space so my husband literally had to go down to the beach at 5:30am and wait for an hour and a half just to get our chairs that “came with our room.” That was very disappointing. It’s a nice enough facility but we would not stay there again because of that. Bright side is we made friends with a few people and the WONDERFUL Alan who set up our chairs. He deserves a raise for dealing with the complaints he received for people having to fight for chairs!!!

"We have been staying at the Islander since, I believe, 1992, in the Fall. This is the first time we have been in November, but it was a really enjoyable choice. The weather was perfect. Unit 509 was an excellent choice. It had obviously been recently renovated, and was so nice. We really enjoyed our time there. Over the years, I have recommended The Islander to friends and relatives, and I know several who have stayed there. It is such a nice location and has always been so well-maintained and updated. "We stayed in Unit 509 - recently renovated, beautifully done, so clean - great balcony view - the bedroom set up was perfect for my 4 girl friends and I - the bathrooms were a good size and clean - kitchen was well equipped - the walkway to the beach was well maintained and convenient - the umbrella and chair service that came with the unit was very accommodating - the staff in the front office were nice and most helpful - our stay was delightful (the color of the water was amazing! ) - The Islander is located in a perfect spot on Holiday Isle - I would recommend this unit to anyone and would certainly stay here again!
