Living Room: The inviting living room features a comfortable sectional sofa, just right for unwinding after a day on the beach. The 48" TV is perfect for enjoying a movie night or catching up on your favorite shows. Enjoy stepping out onto your private balcony and take in the stunning views of the beach with your morning coffee. For additional sleeping arrangements we have a sofa sleeper!

Fully Equipped Kitchen: Our kitchen comes with modern appliances and all the kitchen essentials you need to prepare wonderful meals during your vacation.

Bedrooms: The master bedroom offers a king bed and a 32" TV, for peaceful atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds and a 27" TV.

Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

Fitness Center & Grilling Area: The fitness center is located next to the lobby just a short stroll away! What a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you are on vacation in Destin. Rules: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

Great trip...unit needs a little TLC

"Everything was great as usual.......this is our 8th time staying at The Islander. This was our first time in this unit. The couch needs replacing and the AC doesn’t seem to cool very well. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim. Other than that another great trip at The Islander!

"Our unit #506 had an amazing view and was totallly equipped with all kitchen items needed. We stayed for 2 1/2 months. The beds are quite comfortable. The sectional sofa, though it looks good needs to be replaced. I hope the owners will replace it. Other then that we have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The unit was very clean as well as the grounds and common spaces. The staff is friendly and guest are so nice and fun to be around.

"We have stayed at the Islander for the last 3 years and we love it. Every year has been a different unit. 506 was perfect for our trip - 3 teenage girls and 2 adults. Always a great vacation and this property hasn’t let us down. The only issue is the elevators- one was down and when it was working we decided not to take it due to the function not at 100%. They had work being done on it but I’m sure the high use in this climate makes it hard. Again, overall great stay.

"we always love our stay at the Islander. My wife has been going there since she was a kid. This unit was good overall. Suggestions for improvement would be new mattresses especially the king bed, dvd players that actually work, and a rug for living room. The tile only in living area can get slick with sand.

Great Destin Trip

"Our property was easy to get to and was stocked with everything needed. It was great sitting out on the balcony overlooking the pool and clear blue ocean. The unit had comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We would highly recommend the condos and our individual unit.

"Friendly staff, check in was easy and my room was ready just before 3pm. Room is clean. Furniture is comfortable. Lots of things in the kitchen to use. Love the location. Pools and hot tubs are nice! We could even see fireworks from the pool one nigh! Great view from the balcony. Love that we got two chairs and umbrella with our rental. Close to everything! Would like to stay again.

Family Vacation

"For the most part there are no complaints. The room itself was amazing and just what I needed for the family. The west pool being closed the last night we were there was really disappointing. They said someone would clean it the following morning but it was just the maintenance man who cleaned said pool so I don’t understand why it wasn’t done that night.

"This is our go to location for Destin. Been there like 5 or 6 times. Always clean and it's kept up very well. People are always cleaning up around the pool, hosing off the deck area. Umbrellas on the beach are set up. Everyone is helpful and friendly. It's away from the hustle bustle but also close to evrything you need.

"We rented unit 506 through VRBO. This was the first time we used VRBO, and it was a good experience. I looked at many different condos, but chose 506 because of its location and views of the ocean. It was a nicely furnished unit, the management was friendly and fast to get us checked in, and the grounds were well maintained. The pool was a bit older, but did the job. The oval pool on the south side was much newer and nicer, and not nearly as crowded as the main one. We would definitely stay here again, as we absolutely loved the beaches and crystal clear water of Destin.

"This was our third stay at the Islander. Everything has always been very nice. This was our first stay in this unit. It was very nice. The entire place is clean it is convenient to all Destin has to offer. Due to construction, we had to be moved from our original booked condo but the office called ahead of time to let us know and when I told them I was traveling with a special needs child and had chosen that condo for certain accommodations, the lady made sure we were accommodated in our "new" place. The condo was clean and convenient to beach, elevators, pool, and lobby. Awesome view! Comfortable furniture. Would stay here again.

Family Vacation 2017

"We've stayed at the Islander before and wanted to return because we love the Holiday Isle location. We rented unit 503 in April for our July trip, however, we were put in 506 because the owner of 503 moved us to accommodate a longer stay, making more money! We were not happy about that. Our unit was not as nicely decoratef as the one we picked out and the large rug in the living room was very stained and looked dirty. There were so.e minor things that could be touched up to make this unit more presentable such as cleaning and painting walls. Nevertheless, we had a great family vacation and enjoyed our beautiful view!

"The condo was very clean with a great view of the pool and ocean. We didn't have a lot of contact with the front desk but the few we had were positive ones. We stayed in this unit based on our son's previous experience at the Islander and his decision to return again this year with his family. We were able to have a great family get together. My spouse and I are retired and to be honest, if we return to Destin for vacationing, we would probably choose another area that was more suitable for retirees.

"Very nice condo. Awesome view of ocean and a good distance away from the elevator. The condo had quite a few noticeable upgrades. Only negative was that the bed in the master bedroom was quite uncomfortable. A new mattress is a must.
