Islander Condo #409 is an East View, Gold Unit that sleeps up to 6 people. Unit 409 has been newly updated for 2024 with all brand new furniture and mattresses in both bedrooms and new couches, dining table, bar stools and lighting in the living/dining area. Ceiling fans were also recently installed in the bedrooms and living room for your comfort.

The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the tools to meet your cooking needs. Gather around the dining room table that seats 6 or relax in the living area to watch the 46" smart TV with digital cable. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

The master bedroom boasts a king size bed, and a 42" Smart TV with cable. The bathroom has a double sink vanity, granite countertops, and walk in shower. The guest bedroom boasts a Queen size bed, a set of twin bunk beds, and a 42” Smart TV.

Soak in amazing sunsets from your private balcony with panoramic views of the pool, jacuzzi, and Gulf of Mexico. Your room is just steps away from the sugar white sand on our beautiful private gated beach. No need to pack your chairs and umbrella—you’ll be treated to 2 beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you each day of your stay during the months of March through October.
The Islander Resort offers tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, basketball court, a grill pavilion, fitness center, 2 hot tubs, and 2 crystal clear pools. One pool is heated during the cooler months. Your vacation at the Islander Resort awaits you!

"We had a great time during our stay. The condo itself was beautiful, with pretty furniture. Short walk to the beach, very family friendly. Loved that two chairs and an umbrella were reserved everyday for you. The front desk staff were short staffed, so there weren't many kids activities, but Kendall was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!

"Very nice small family oriented property very clean wonderful staff very helpful staff! Tell her rise, glitz and glamour but very nice. Excellent Beach Getaway

"This vacation rental allows private access to the beach in a gated community! It's family-friendly and is nestled among various properties that provide security, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a basketball court, and two swimming pools.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The unit was newly renovated and clean, and is an accurate assessment of the pictures. The kitchen was the perfect size for us, and it was equipped with the basic essentials (i.e. full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, bowls, plates, utensils, and other things).

The balcony overlooks one pool and provides a picturesque view of the ocean. I would recommend staying at this property and look forward to returning!

"We rented Unit 409 and the view is gorgeous. It is the first unit off the elevator, making it convenient. The owners were in the middle of some upgrades, but that did not affect our stay at all. I ran down early on the towel exchange day (Tuesday) and the door was still closed, a staff member, who had not even punched in yet for her shift and quickly set her stuff down, said “please let me help you” and exchanged my towels. Again I was 15 mins early and expected to wait. The staff is friendly and property was clean. The man in charge of the pool area takes great pride in his work. The carts make unloading and loading a breeze.

Islander is great, suite 409 needs TLC

"We love the Islander, this is our 3rd time. Floors were filthy. Socks black walking on floors. Headboard in Master was broke and rattled. Elevators were a maintenance nightmare and got down to one working, which is ridiculous with that many units.

"Upen arrival, our room was not ready, so we enjoyed the beach and pool. The overall upkeep of the place was good. I watched a man every morning cleaning the pool area (spraying it off, raking the sand area, scooping out BBQ pits) and witnessed them cleaning the elevators and common areas multiple times. The workers were all very friendly and courteous. I liked how two chairs and an umbrella were included with our stay and Allen was always offering to help lug things on and off the beach. This place is very conveniently located to many grocery stores and restaurants. The condo we chose was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Everything was in working order. I was surprised to see that there was no washer and dryer in the unit, but it was a short walk to the washateria area and that was very clean and well kept. The only thing I didn’t like was the carpet in the master bedroom. It felt a little old, but other than that the condo was spacious and we really enjoyed our time here.

"We have stayed at The Islander for the past 6 or 7 years with my sister and brother in law and love it! We have also stayed in 409 several of those but this time there were several things they were not up to standard. I mentioned them when we checked out. We had to ask for a towel bar in guest bath. Pantry door comes off hinges. Blinds in mast bedroom don’t all work. Also, we called when my sister snd I got to town snd was told room wasn’t ready but we would be called and we were not. Finally at about 4:30 I think, we called and there was no note to call us. We had to unload in a monsoon rain storm!

"We thorougly enjoyed our stay at the Islander. The room itself could have used a little updating but overall our stay was fantastic. From the first moment of Maggie, at the front desk with her cordial welcoming throughout our stay to Alan, the guy who had our umbrellas out by 7:30 and continually asked if we needed anything when we were out by the beach. His job was hot and hard in that hot sun.

"Our stay at the Islander was amazing! The staff was super helpful, we did have some issues with sinks and showers not draining but it was reported to the front desk and maintenance came and addressed the issues the very next day and after that everything worked great! I absolutely loved the morning activities and my daughter did as well. On the drive home I was already looking at reserving at the Islander for next year!

"Our family had a great time at the Islander. Our Condo unit was very nice, we were close to the Harbor and shopping. We will definitely come back. I do wish there would have been some toys in the room for the kids to use at the beach, some buckets and shovels. I also wish the pool would have been open later than 10pm. But overall, had a great time!

"Spent 29 days here with my family and I definitely did not want to leave. The view from our balcony was spectacular and it was great to wake up to every morning. The staff was amazing. We had no issues with anyone. The whole property itself is well maintained. The condo was very clean upon arrival. The condo itself requires some updating here and there. The rugs in the kitchen and living room need to be removed or replaced for new ones. The king size bed in the master bedroom was a bit uncomfortable but doable. Some of the wall plugs were coming off the wall which can become dangerous especially with little ones. The upgrade in the kitchen and master bedroom bathroom is beautiful! Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. This condo had everything I needed for my family and I loved how it was right by the elevator so I didn’t have to walk far. I would definitely come back!

"the staff was wonderful, the location was great, the unit itself was adequate but the dining table needs to be out of there. 2 chairs are not fit to sit on for fear of breaking. the carpet under the table could be removed to enhance unit.

"We enjoy staying at The Islander. The snowbird group plan many activities which appeal to a variety of interests. The only drawback for these activities is the Palm Room which is extremely noisy during potlucks and large group activities.

"I would like to commend Wayne at the front desk. Our reservation was for 203 but there was construction overhead and was very noisy. Wayne took it upon himself to relocate us to room 409. "Enjoyed our week at the beach. Nice place to stay. Easy walk to the beach. Nice HEATED POOLS for late day/night swimming. Only issue my family had was that the hot tubs were WAY to hot. Overall would go back without a doubt and are next year.
