"This was our third time staying at The Islander.The staff and Allan at the beach were WONDERFUL. The condo was updated and clean. The only issue was the bed in master was lumpy. We will continue to visit The Islander because the Staff and Allan are always friendly and accommodating. The property is always taken care of and clean. We enjoy having Local Market and Winn Dixie so close. The red light is a major convenience with negotiating the traffic on the Strip.

"The condo unit was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative was trying to figure out which of the three remotes worked the Tv in the living room. The view from the balcony was awesome and the pools were clean. Would recommend more umbrellas in the pool area. Would definitely stay again.

"We previously stayed on the 5th floor but the beds were not comfortable. The beds in 403 are very comfortable. The sofa and chairs are not the best and would love to see new more comfy seating. The location is great. The kitchen has just about anything you might need. We booked for November of 2024. Oh, the washer dryer sold us at first and makes it easy.

Lovely beach front condo

"Our room was beautiful & stay was wonderful. I will say if you have anyone handicap the elevators are the slowest thing possible. We used the stairs for 10 days straight on the forth floor cause the elevator was always packed or waited for a long period of time & times out of service.. , so I would be aware if you have anyone handicap. The rooms were cleaned alright for a $5000 dollar stay I don’t expect the baseboards to be covered in black hair and dirt. As well as no tables weren’t dusted prior to our arrival sand covered on all tables . So I practically cleaned the moment of check in. The bath towels and wash cloths could be replaced you can tell they are years old with permanent stains. Overall location of stay was nice & the pool and long as the beach service. Rooms could for sure be cleaner coming from a co-owner of a cleaning company that has been in business for 20 plus years, you can tell there isn’t much pride being putting into the cleaning.

"The property overall is Fabulous, very clean and landscaping is groomed. Every morning they spray down the pool area and sidewalk, the pools are both warm enough to get into and are clean.
Our room was clean and nicely decorated, my only issue was the wash machine didn't work properly and that was my train for picking that room was to have a washer. It would not fill up with water, only about 2 inches, enough to maybe do socks and underwear, I couldn't find any water level adjustment. I also felt like the bedding, bedspreads, needs to be updated.
But overall it was a nice stay.

"This a very nice unit. Loved the washer and dryer in the unit. Excellent view. Unit was very well equipped. The only thing that I would change would be the sleeper/sofa. It was somewhat difficult to sit on due to the bar from the sleeper. Otherwise, it was an excellent unit and was very welcoming

"Enjoyed our visit. We had spent many weeks at the Islander years ago so this place is special to us. Returning to Holiday Isle & The Islander was special. The condo is very nice, clean, & updated. Excellent stay

"Condo was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The view Fe the balcony was gorgeous. Having a washer and dryer was great. The beds were cozy and provided a great night sleep. The living room furniture was very comfortable and clean. We have always stayed at the islander, but over the 2020 Christmas holiday we stayed at a different property. The islander was WAY cleaner overall, better layout and easier access to things. We finally have somewhere else to compare the Islander to, and the Islander won hands down in every way. The only drawback to that unit was no broom or vacuum. There wasn't any carpet, but we vacuum pack our luggage to minimize space and we were unable to repack the same way to go home. It's nice to have a broom to sweep up sand and what not. We purchased a broom and left it there for future guests to use.

"Loved, loved, loved!!! My family and I just recently stayed at the Islander Unit #403 and loved it! The view is so nice especially in the morning!! Loved that we could see the pool from our unit. "Unit #403 was an amazing unit! It was exactly as described. Great space with 2 full bathrooms. I wish the sliding door had a screen so we could enjoy some air, but that is a very minor point. Great location and walking distance to the beach. The unit came with 2 chairs set-up on the beach per day. Would definitely rent again!

"It was our first time traveling with our friends. As four adults we were looking for the perfect rental to all be able to enjoy our vacation. We looked for many weeks to decide where to go in Florida and landed on Destin. The next step was finding a great place to stay and this condo was perfect. With two nice size bedrooms and king size beds in each room both couples had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The location was excellent with a great view. The convenience to many local restaurants was fantastic. This condo was the perfect place to stay with a great view and many things to do.

Destination wedding guest stay

"The condo was very clean and updated. We had 6 guests stay in the condo and overall it worked out well. We were not crowded but one couple did have to stay on the pull out couch, which was easy to assemble. All 3 of the beds were not very comfortable and very loud when a person would move. There needed to be more pillows for the pull out couch guests. The kitchen and patio were great as well as the staff at the Islander! Besides the comfort of the beds affecting sleep the stay was great. We were 5 minutes from everything we wanted to do and walking distance from the wedding venue.

Great Place To Say In Destin

"This is a beautiful condo in a great location. It has a good view of the ocean and you're in the sand in no time. It has all the things you will need for your stay (coffee maker, blender, washer/dryer,etc). The front desk staff were helpful and professional and check in/out was easy. There is a grocery store and super Target less than five minutes away in addition to many restaurants and attractions. I stayed here with my wife and 8 year old son and we all enjoyed it very much. The pool was nice for a quick dip and my son and I enjoyed a few games of shuffleboard. When we return to Destin this will be our first choice for a place to stay.

"This is definitely one the nicest units at the Islander. New furniture, great remodel, and best sofa sleeper. However the master bed is horrible. springs are broken so noisy and very uncomfortable. But if they change the master bed definitely best unit to rent!!!

"Newly renovated condo was immaculate. Washer/dryer was a big plus. Staff from office to beach were friendly and helpful. Bring some ziplock containers or bags because there were no storage items in the kitchen. Dishwasher was quiet and furniture was comfortable. Can’t wait for my next visit to the Islander.

"We have a great time in Destin and enjoy staying at The Islander. We like that it’s not on busy 98, but easy access to stores and restaurants. We loved the newly renovated 403, so beautiful! The washer and dryer in unit was awesome. Of course my favorite is the view from the balcony. We saw dolphins almost everyday. It was hard to leave, I already miss the beautiful beach and warm pool.

Convenient, Clean and Comfortable

"The Islander is our first choice when looking for a place to stay in the Destin area. They are so helpful and nice. People are at the front desk 24 hours to help you. While they expect you to obey the rules, they aren't "nit pickey" and are very kid friendly. Convenient to all of Destin activities. Pool and hot tubs are clean. Beach is beautiful and a very short walk from condos. This was our first stat in this particular condo. It was clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. All appliances worked well and the condo was stocked with the items you needed for a comfortable stay. The views were very appealing. We could see the ocean and pool areas. The carpet was clean. Extra pillows and blankets were provided. Towel exchange and kids activities on certain days. Plenty of parking. Would recommend The Islander and this condo (403). Hope to return soon.
