The guest bedroom includes two Rattan twin beds, a stylish accent chair, and a 43” TV with a DVD player. The guest bathroom is updated with a marble tub/shower combo and a sleek vanity.

"Unit 303 met our needs perfectly. We had a beautiful view of the gulf and the pool. We saw dolphins from our balcony on multiple occasions. It was a short walk to the beach and pool and the steps are nearby.

"I took my 14 year old granddaughters to the Islander before they returned to school. We all had a great time and visit with my daughter and her young ones. I have stayed in several units this year and when I book through the Islander my experience has been great. The staff are always extremely helpful.

"From the moment we entered the gate into the parking lot to the last day of the vacation everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean and beautifully decorated condo, well manicured grounds, breathtaking views of the gulf, and great location to restaurants, shopping but not in a crowded area.

"We had an amazing time at The Islander in Destin, FL! I cannot applaud them enough for cleanliness! This condo was spotless! Immaculate! I believe the description says it was recently renovated and the new décor and furniture is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It is much prettier in person. Our children loved the pool and hot tub. It was always very clean and very well taken care of. All staff were super friendly and the beach access was perfect as well. We had our grandfather with us and the board walk down to the beach made it very easy for him to walk down. Not to mention, the beach and water were gorgeous! The owners of Unit 303 have outdone themselves. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this condo! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

"Beautiful view, excellent management staff. the white sand beaches are beautiful. Perfect for family. The property is clean and well taken care of. I only recommend having a little more security at the main door and the balcony door so that it is not accessible to children. We truly loved this location! Highly recommend!

Vacation with hurricane Sally

"The condo was very nice though we had some issues with the tvs, which was eventually resolved by a member of the staff. It had been a very long time since batteries were changed out, which made many of the remotes inoperable. The condo was nice and well supplied with kitchen items. The property location was great being so close to the beach area. One major issue was the parking lot. We were on the outer edge of the hurricane so everyone was pretty much locked in until the heavy rain passed, however the property parking lot was another matter altogether. The lot was completely flooded for the five days after the rain. The pump system they were attempting to use was a real jury rigged outfit trying to draw the water down. Basically everyone was stranded with no way out for a couple of days, then we eventually were able to plow through the lower flooded area. I realize the event was not the property or managements fault, but certainly a better pump system would be a worthy expenditure. It could have been a real problem for anyone that had a medical issue or an emergency, since it was not possible to leave the property for two or more days. All that being said, we would return and stay here again as the location and condo was very nice, particularly access to the beach and surrounding restaurants and businesses.

"We have stayed at The Islander each of last (20) years and have been very satisfied over the years.
The only issues were that the bed in the Master Bedroom was not very comfortable. Also, one of the rooms on the 4th floor had several teenagers playing loud music which was annoying to several families with young children.
We plan to continue to visit The Islander each year.

"Our condo was very nice! The view was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay. All the staff was really nice and Alan at the beach service was very friendly and helpful. "We have been coming to the Islander for 13 years and always enjoyed it very much but this time there was a problem. Due to work being done we were unable to use the balcony of unit 303. One of the things we enjoyed most at the Islander was setting on the balcony reading and having coffee in the morning. All though we received a $84.00 discount we would have much rather had the use of the balcony. We still plan to return in the future but we were very disappointed during this stay.
