Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay. Please note Washer & Dryers are not available unless specified!

A pleasant stay in Destin

"Clean and spacious condo. Comfortable beds. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the pool and lobby. Very convenient to the pool and boardwalk to beach was closeby. Kitchen in condo had everything we needed. Recent renovations were well done. Our only "con" is not in regard to the condo, but more the community. The beach boardwalk was totally inaccessible for someone with a physical disability. There has been some significant beach erosion, and while there was a ramp, there was a huge drop off at the end to step down to the beach. I will say, though, the young man helping with the beach chairs (Alan), was very nice and jumped up out of his chair to offer a hand when he thought I was about to face plant in the sand while getting back up the steep hill by the stairs. Just a heads up if you are traveling with someone who may need to use a ramp to get down to the beach.

"Our condo was amazing. Reserving the condo was easy online. The staff was quick and thorough when I checked in. The condo itself was spotless and well set up. I love the laundry in the unit. Our room was close to the front desk, but still quiet and relaxing. The beach is so close, just over the boardwalk. The pools are warm, but not too warm. And the hot tubs are hot! Shuffle board, pickle ball, an area to grill out. . . the Islander really does have everything.

"What an amazing unit! Everything is beautiful, modern and spotless. We loved all the new and modern amenities in this condo….especially the washer and dryer! We also loved being on the main floor. It is close to the pool, hot tub and, of course, the BEACH! Having two chairs and an umbrella already set up for us on the beach each day was a huge plus. We are senior citizens and appreciate not having to take and set up these items ourselves. We love Destin and will definitely return to unit 109!

"We absolutely loved our stay at Unit 109!! From the location to the updates throughout the entire condo- I can’t say enough about it! Unit 109 was not only updated beautifully (kitchen, both baths, etc) and decorated perfectly! It was very clean, beds were so comfortable - we truly felt like we were at home. As a family of 6 with four children ranging 13-5, being located on the first floor is huge plus for us. It’s so nice & convenient having a view of the pool from your patio. They even provided family games, cards, and books for those rainy days too! Don’t hesitate booking this- we can’t wait to go back!

"The stay was great except for the weather. The tenants above us were throwing trash in front of our patio daily. They also made a lot of noise thru the night.I complained to the front desk but it didnt help. Someone did pick the trash up.

Our Month in Destin

"Start to finish the communication and staff effort was very good. The facility was in good shape.
Our unit was a little "tired" with paint missing in the guest bathroom and just generally needed a repaint.
The dish washer was very loud, but worked fine as did the other appliances.
The pots and pans were warped and needed replacement.
We LOVED the linen and towel exchange! And the ladies there were SO helpful and pleasant.
Overall it was a very good experience and we'll be back next year!

"We came to Islander for a vacation with friends, during the Pandemic. It was the perfect get away....perfect location. We loved being on the ground floor. Couldn't see the beach from the ground floor, but that was ok. We were at the beach every day. It was just a quick walk out to the sand. The only thing we wished it had was a washer and dryer. Every unit should be equipped with one. We didn't think we would need one, but with wet towels...YES!

"As Always staying at the Islander was an excellent experience. The staff is always very courteous and friendly. If you need anything they are always willing to accommodate. Located right on the beach, with great beach attendants. We tried a unit on the first floor this visit and the price was excellent, (thank you Megan Pollak) however we did miss the balcony view this year! Highly recommend the Islander. We will return again next year.

"My family and I always enjoy our stay at the Islander. And plan on going back again. However the first thing I will do next time staying is bring my own bed sheets and blankets. Our condo was clean, but the blanket on one of the beds was dirty. Otherwise our stay was wonderful. Front desk help was amazing and Allen, the attendant on the beach, was awesome!!

"This unit is so comfortable and has all the convenience for four people. We have stayed there for almost 30 years. The only complaint I have is the small shower head in the guest bathroom and the TV system in this unit. No instructions available and we had to get help from the office.

"The unit had a bad smell to it. Could not describe other than a fish odor to it. We thought it may be the trash can but once it was replaced, the odor remained. Other then that, we had a great time. The staff were great and always helpful. We loved the unit being on the first floor s it made access to the beach and pool very easy. Will stay in this unit again. Thanks, Ray.

"Alan whom worked Beach service is awesome ! Took care of our beach needs a the whole week Day he was off we missed him! Check in girl extremely friendly !
Elevators extremely hot! Electricity went out! Unit 109 master bathroom shower started spraying water out of nozel! Old bathtubs showers ! Industrial washer machine had been broken for several weeks! Pots and pans need to be non stick! Thank goodness we brought our own! Great location beautiful beaches. I'd stay again just not in unit 109 have to be better bathrooms !
Mattress was comfortable not the pull out sofa . Unit needs small vacuum n bathroom cleaner for a 7 night stay I'll keep in mind bring toilet bowl cleaner disinfectant.
If reminded the Islander yet wouldn't suggest elevator ride and rent platinum unit !

"There areaa lot of little things that need to be corrected in the Condo. No telephone instrutions, no TV instructions, blinds were broken, had to open by hand. Lamp on long table did not work. Shower heads are terrible. They need to be larger. Loved the new locks on the doors. Clerks at check in and check were wonderful We have stayed here for many years and love this place. Just needs to be a few updates to this condo. We will be back next years. Love it.
