"The unit was very clean. The kitchen came with all the necessary essentials. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and ready as well. We had a problem with the garbage disposal and management sent someone within 2 hours to take a look and repair the issue. I loved how close to the beach the property is. A short walk and you were on the beach ready to go.

"It was perfect! The staff was helpful, the unit was an easy walk to pull, beach, front desk, tennis courts, pickleball courts and parking lot. The vacation was for my husband and I and our 2 adult children and we would all agree to comeback! Tip: if you are getting the complimentary chairs and umbrellas, be at the beach early 7-8:00 am to insure you get them and in a good spot.

"I just can’t imagine ever traveling to FL again without staying at The Islander unit #107! We could not have been happier! The location was ideal! The proximity to the beach, well it couldn’t have been better. It was a super easy walk that took maybe 2 minutes. This unit is on the 1st floor which makes EVERYTHING easier. Hauling in luggage & groceries was a snap. The back patio where we ate lunch everyday, overlooks the pool which was wonderful. With having young teens this was a definite perk. I was able to give them their space yet keep a very close eye on them without hovering. The inside of the condo was even better. Super clean, well maintained, decorated beautifully & it had everything you need! We cooked in the condo often & having every kitchen gadget accessible made things so nice. Clean towels & sheets are available just steps outside your front door. OH & ice! Right next to clean linens you can purchase bags of ice! This made packing a cooler for the beach super convenient & it made whipping up all my yummy beach drinks in the blender easier as well. I was a little concerned about the beds as I had read a review about 1 of the beds not being very comfortable & I am a bit of a bed snob. To my surprise the beds were FANTASTIC!!! NO issues at all! We all slept wonderfully. Even the pull out sofa bed equipped with a gel mattress was great! Although we didn’t watch a ton of TV, each night we snuggled in to watch a little before bed. Due to the cable & many streaming services we were able to stay up to date on the news & the kids had 1000’s of movies to choose from. It truly was a magical vacation & our stay at The Islander unit #107 was a huge part of that. My 14 year old is still talking about it & is adamant that it was our best vacation EVER, the rest of us agree! Do yourself a favor & book this gem!!!

"This was my second trip to the Islander and I have to say this unit is was perfect. The location is super close to the pool and so easy to access from the parking lot as well. It is decorated beautifully and it was extremely clean. Master bed was very comfortable.

Unit 107

"We are snowbirds and have stayed in many different units over they years. Unit 107 is one of the nicer units and the owner is dedicated to keeping it that way.
That said, the Islander staff has been very good to work with. However, this year we had a very different experience. Newly unpublished and without notification rule changes have led to us not having a rental unit for 2024. This is forcing us to leave our friends of many years behind for the winters as we look for another rental location. It is with regret that we need to publish this review as we say good by to all our friends.

Unit 107 Comfortable Home Away From Home

"Had a family reunion and this was one of six units we rented. All units were clean and well kept. Would have liked to have coffee packs (at least two) available upon checking in because it was difficult to get free to go to the store. Overall, very happy though. This was our 4th time staying at the Islander and we will be returning again. Comfortable, neat, attractive, and clean.

"We enjoyed our stay overall. The beds were pretty firm and not that comfortable. There was black spots on the ceiling in the master bathroom and living room. Not sure what that was but looked suspicious. We could hear everything our neighbors above us did. They were very loud. Almost every night, it sounded like they were running around and/or moving furniture around constantly. The pool seemed to be overcrowded with kids and at times was not the cleanest. Most of this can be expected with resorts. We were overall very satisfied with our stay. Maggie and the other employees at the front desk were always very helpful. That’s the biggest win for me.

"We have been staying here for YEARS....I just think unit 107 needs some TLC. Most of the outlets do not work and in today's world where everything needs to "charge" I need all the plugs to work. The drains don't drain that well either. But other than that we love our vacation home

"We love this condo. It’s in the perfect location. I would suggest changing the mattresses in the 2nd bedroom (twin beds). They are very hard but everything else was perfect!!!

"Unit was clean. Location is the main reason we like this unit; easy access to pool and beach and the kids run from room to room with other families. Carpet in bedrooms need to be redone along with the Master Bathroom (Certainly the toilet, handle hardly flushed about 50% required to lift the top of the tank). The room is fine but the main reason we come to the Islander is to be outside.

"We have been coming here for over 20 years. Normally always get 107 because of its location. Love staying here just feel 107 is a little out dated than the other rooms. The dishwasher kept coming out of the wall, the tv's in 107 are very tiny compared to at least 4 other rooms that I looked at on the first floor. I would recommend the Islander I just do't know if I would recommend 107

"My husband and I stayed at the islander last year for a couples vacation and this year we stayed for a friend vacation. I have always liked the workers and the environment. It’s a positive and friendly place. You do not have house keeping but to me that’s not an issue due to the fact there are trash shoots and towel exchanges! Also if you want to nap or don’t want people in your business this is perfect for you. I highly recommend it here! It is also very clean and professional!

"Everything was perfect except the master bedroom needs a new mattress badly!! The bed felt like we were laying on 2 box springs. Horrible!! Also I would add a couple box fans since there are no ceiling fans in the rooms. Other then that the condo was great!
