The Islander Snowbirds celebrated ’super bowl sunday’ in the Islander Palm Room while watching the game on a 60″ TV.  They also had a fabulous chili cookoff with 6 pots of chili participating. The three Judges chose Shirley Leahy as the winner! Afterwards, everyone enjoyed the chili, snacks and desserts and watched the big game. A good time was had by all.

If you are not staying at The Islander, then you will not be at our Super Bowl Party! There will be a Chili contest at 3pm and lots of chili eating at 4pm. The Islander installed a 60″ flat screen TV in our Palm Room just for viewing this special event tomorrow.  Maybe you should be here next year!  We have many parties and a large heated pool for your enjoyment. Our property is newly renovated and our winter rates are great.
